Florent Marciacq is an associate researcher at the French Institute of International Relations. He holds a PhD in Political Sciences from the University of Vienna and the University of Luxembourg and graduated in International Relations, Management and Sinology. He is Deputy Secretary General of the Austro-French Centre for Rapprochement in Europe. He is also Director of the Observatoire des Balkans at the Fondation Jean Jaurès in Paris and associate researcher at the Centre International de Formation Européenne (CIFE). He is the coordinator of the Pezinok Group on European strategic autonomy.
