Mediterranean Inequalities: 21st Century Challenge, with Ricard Pérez Casado, Tassadit Yacine and Lola Bañón
Ricard Pérez Casado, PhD in History and former EU representative in Mostar, will relfect on inequalities in the Mediterranean region together with Algerian anthropologist Tassadit Yacine, who is focused in Berber culture. The conversation will be moderated by journalist Lola Bañón. Ricard Pérez Casado has just published the book Las desigualdades mediterráneas, reto del siglo XXI (Los Libros de La Catarata, 2020).
This dialogue is part of the latest IDEES special issue, “A new vision for the Mediterranean”, published by the Centre for Contemporary Studies in collaboration with the European Institute for Mediterranean (IEMed) and the General Direction for European and Mediterranean Affairs of the Ministry for Foreign Action, Institutional Relations and Transparency.
The session has also been organized in collaboration with the Assembly of Citizens of the Mediterranean Foundation (FACM).
