Arnau Gonzàlez i Vilalta

Arnau Gonzalez i Vilalta is a historian and writer who is currently a professor of Contemporary History at the Autonomous University of Barcelona, where he graduated and received a PhD. His research career revolves around various aspects of Catalan interwar nationalism, during the period 1931-1945. He is the author of dozens of articles and more than fifteen books on the Spanish Republican period, interwar Catalonia, Catalan nationalism and European diplomacy. Among his works stands out Amb ulls estrangers.
