Artur Colom Jaén is a researcher at the Department of Economic History, Institutions, Politics and World Economy from the University of Barcelona (UB) and a member of the African Studies Group (GEA) at the Autonomous University of Madrid. He is also a Research Associate in the Department of Development Studies at the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS University of London). He holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Barcelona. His fields of research include the political economy of development, international cooperation systems and natural resources. He is the author of several publications such as La política económica de Etiopía (2019) and the África 2019. Dinámicas transfronterizas en un contexto globalizado report (2019).
