Daniel Villatoro is Expert on Distributed Artificial Intelligence and Behavioural Modelling while applying social network analysis, big data tools and geospatial mining. He is chief data scientist at Openbank since september 2017. Information Engineer graduate, he has worked at The Artificial Intelligence Research Institute (IIIA), a research center belonging to the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC), as well as Cognicor Technologies or Barcelona Digital Technology Centre, where his work focused mainly on smart cities. In 2014, Villatoro joined the BBVA team as a senior data scientist from BBVA Data&Analytics. In 2015 he started working at the british headquarters of Vodafone, where he also worked as a senior data scientist and, later on, as a data enablers lead. Villatoro has also worked as a professor at IE Business School and he is the cofounder of Pointo Talent Solutions, a company focused in recruitment.
