Desirée Bela-Lobedde is a communicator and writer. She focuses her communication activity on afrofeminist activism and specifically on aesthetic activism. She manages her own website and writes a fortnightly column in Publico.es, where she deals with issues related to racism. She also participates as a collaborator in Més 3|24, a current affairs TV program hosted by Xavier Graset. She authored the book Ser mujer negra en España (Plan B, 2018)
