Enric Pérez Canals

Enric Pérez Canals is associate professor at the University of Barcelona’s Department of Condensed Matter Physics. His research is focused on the history of modern physics, specifically, on the interrelations between quantum theory and statistical physics. He has been teaching History of Physics at the Faculty of Physics since 2010, and is co-author of the book Física estadística. De estados y partículas: una mirada nueva a viejas controversias (Statistical physics. Of states and particles: a new look at old controversies) (Edicions UB, 2018) with Pere Seglar i Comas. He has also written and directed short plays based on episodes and concepts in modern physics.
