Hans Küng
Hans Küng is a theologian and one of the prominent thinkers of the 20th century. He studied philosophy and theology in Rome and Paris, was engaged in pastoral activities, and from 1960 he was Professor of Ecumenical Theology at the University of Tübingen. His studies on world religions culminated in the creation of the World Ethics Foundation, of which he is the honorary president. Some of the most relevant publications of his extensive are Structures of the Church (1962), Infallible? An Inquiry (1971), Does God Exist? An Answer for Today (1980), Reforming the Church Today. Keeping Hope Alive (1990), Yes to a Global Ethic (1996), A Global Ethic for Global Politics and Economics (1997) and Women in Christianity (2002).
