Helga Molbæk-Steensig

Helga Molbæk-Steensig is a PhD-researcher at the European University Institute, where she works on the political pressures on the European Court of Human Rights. Among her more widely read works on this topic are “Subsidiarity does not win cases”, published in the Leiden Journal of International Law, and “Judicial independence and impartiality”, published in the European Journal of Legal Studies. Her research interests also include the role of human rights in responses to global changes and challenges including pandemics, climate change, and Artificial Intelligence.
