Joana G. Grenzner is a feminist activist, researcher and journalist. She is focused on communication from a gender, ethnicity and class perspective. She works as a professor at the Gender and Communication Master’s Degree from Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. She is part of ORIGEN, a Regular Observatory of Gender Equality in Newscasts. She has co-authored several works, such as Fils feministes: seguint el fil del moviment feminista a Catalunya and Sabers i Pràctiques Feministes: una aproximació al moviment feminista català, among others. She is co-founder of La independent-News Agency with a Gender Point of view and also Agencia 8M, created to inform about the Feminist strike. She regularly contributes at Pikara Magazine, an online feminist magazine, as well as Crític, TV3, Catalunya Radio, La Directa, El Periódico, Gara and El Salto-Diagonal, among other media.
