Joaquín Rodríguez works as a researcher in the Foundation of the Autonomous University of Barcelona. He is professor at UAB’s School of Prevention and Integral Security and local coordinator of the Leading Cities Network. He has been one of the promoters in Spain of the Stop Killer Robots campaign, which seeks to prevent the proliferation of autonomous weapons. He holds a PhD degree specialized in the relations between society and technology and risk analysis. He also holds a Master’s degree in International Relations with a specialization in Peace and Security Studies by the IBEI (Barcelona’s Institute of International Affairs) and a postgraduate degree in Project’s Management by the Centre of high academic studies of the Ibero-American States Organization.
