Paul Mason is a journalist, writer and political activist in the Labour Party. He writes regular columns for The New European and Frankfurter Rundschau and has a Substack newsletter called Conflict & Democracy. He was previously economics editor of BBC Newsnight and Channel 4 News. He is the author of seven books, including Postcapitalism (2015) and How to Stop Fascism (2021). He is currently working on a global history of communism. He lives in London.
