Sally Kerr
Sally Kerr holds a Masters in Fine Arts from Glasgow University, although she has mainly worked in digital innovation and data in the public sector. She has worked as the Enterprise Web Manager at the Edinburgh City Council and is currently working as an independent digital consultant. She has developed projects and digital services related to Open Data, Smart City and Internet of Things (IoT), with a focus on local government use. She has founded EdinburghApps, the civic challenging program that encourages the reuse of open data and develops new businesses. She is also the cofounder of Edinburgh Living Lab, a joint project between Edinburgh University and the Edinburgh City Council, and has created a wide variety of open products using Open Data such as Edinburgh Outdoors and Edinburgh Collected. In 2019, GovTech listed her in the top 30 female tech leaders in her field.
