Professor of Political and Social Philosophy, Daniel Innerarity, dialogues with the Philosophy of Law professor Josep Lluís Martí about democracy in Europe from a double perspective: on the one hand, from the vision of the European Union and, on the other hand, from the internal point of view of the EU member states. The dialogue is moderated by Pere Almeda, director of the Centre for Contemporary Studies.

He has recently published Democracy in Europe(2017), Política para perplejos (2018) and Comprender la Democracia (2018). He has been a coordinator of the 46th IDEES edition about the future of the European project.
José Luis Martí is a researcher focused in theory of democracy. He is Professor of Philosophy of Law at Pompeu Fabra University. His fields of study are deliberative democracy, participatory democracy and digital democracy, as well as republicanism and new technologies for citizen participation. He holds a PhD in Political Science and currently leads the Global Democracy Project research project.
