Lourdes Mu\u00f1oz is a technical engineer in computer science and co-founder of both Barcelona Open Data and Sheleader initiatives. She had an extensive institutional career, first at the Barcelona City Council (1999-2003), where she was Councillor for Gender Policies, and later as MP at the Spanish Parliament for 11 years (2002 to 2011 and 2014 to 2015). As MP, she has been member of the industry, economy, innovation and equality commissions.
