Her main lines of research are in the field of sociology of work, sociology of time and sociology of gender. Her research is focused on the analysis of work, time and daily life, with special attention to social inequalities, welfare and public policies. She holds a PhD in Sociology from the UAB and she currently holds the position of Vice-Dean for Institutional Relations at the Faculty of Political Science and Sociology at the same university. She has written several publications and co-authored the book <em>Revertir el gui\u00f3n.
