He graduated in Political Science from Pompeu Fabra University in Barcelona in 2001 and later earned a Master of Arts in International Relations with a focus on the Middle East from Johns Hopkins University thanks to a <em>La Caixa<\/em> scholarship. His career as a correspondent began in 2005 in Washington. In 2011 he moved to Egypt and in 2015 to Tunisia, where he worked as a correspondent for the newspapers <em>El Pa\u00eds<\/em> and <em>Diari ARA<\/em>, while contributing to other media outlets such as Al Jazeera, BBC and <em>Foreign Policy<\/em>.
