David Bondia Garcia is the president of the Institute of Human Rights of Catalonia and full professor of Public International Law at the University of Barcelona (UN). He holds a PhD in Law and he is a visiting professor at several universities in Europe, America, Asia and Africa. His fields of study are linked to international human rights protection, international criminal jurisdiction and national and local human rights guarantee mechanisms. In this area, he took part in the creation of the European Charter for the Protection of Human Rights in the City and other advisory work.
