She has worked in the field of development cooperation in sub-Saharan Africa and as a researcher in the field of food sovereignty, the phenomenon of land grabbing and the political economy of mineral extraction in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. She is editor and founding member of the online analysis magazine <em>Africaye.org<\/em>. She is also a regular contributor to Pikara Magazine. Her areas of research include political economy and ecology, natural resource mining, human rights, social movements, gender issues and feminism.
