Miquel Carrillo is a chemical engineer who graduated from IQS (Institut Qu\u00edmic de Sarri\u00e0) and holds a master’s degree in public management and sustainable development from the Universitat Aut\u00f2noma de Barcelona. Since 1995 he has developed his professional activity mainly in the field of international cooperation, and is currently an independent consultant. He takes part in the Consell de Cooperaci\u00f3 al Desenvolupament (Catalan Council of Cooperation for Development) and the Consell Catal\u00e0 de Foment de la Pau (Catalan Council for the Promotion of Peace). He is also a member of the governing board of the Spanish Development NGOs’ national coordination, working in policy coherence.
