Youssef Travaly is Senior Fellow for Digital Issues at Friends of Europe and the Africa Europe Foundation. He is also the Executive Chairman of AllSightsAfrica. He is a Senior executive with more than 20 years of experience working in the USA, Europe and Africa with universities, research institutions, private sector and regional organizations, and national and international NGO’s. His research focuses on the strategic and the operational level in the fields of science, innovation and design of public policies, including innovative products policies. He holds a PhD in Materials Science and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration, with a proven leadership and experience in bringing advanced technologies and innovation from laboratory to market in an economically sustainable manner.
