Rafael Dom\u00ednguez is Professor of History and Economic Institutions in the Department of Economics at the University of Cantabria, where he is the Head of the Research Group on Human Development and International Cooperation (COIBA Chair). He is the coordinator of the Research Group on South-South Cooperation and Regional Integrations of the Spanish Network of Development Studies. He is the author of numerous works on cooperation and development with a critical perspective, and collaborates with several international development agencies, including Europeaid, GIZ, Friedrich Ebert Foundation and ECLAC. He has been visiting professor at other universities in Spain, Italy, Mexico, El Salvador, Colombia, Ecuador and Argentina.
