Patricia Gonz\u00e1lez Prado is a lawyer and associate professor at the Department of Political Science and Public Law from the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB). She holds a Master’s degree in Women, Gender and Citizenship Studies (UB) and a PhD in Public Law and Juridico-Political Philosophy from the UAB. Her fields of research include gender-based violence, institutional violence and sexual and reproductive rights. She is part of the Ant\u00edgona research group on rights and society with a gender perspective. She is the author of the book Aborto y la autonom\u00eda sexual de las mujeres<\/em> (2018). Among her latest publications, we can find the article \u201cEl manifesto legal feminista posmoderno: Las contribuciones de Mary Joe Frug\u201d, published in Feminismos jur\u00eddicos: Interpelaciones y debates<\/em> (2022), and the book Autonom\u00eda, g\u00e9nero y derecho, lo que la pretensi\u00f3n jur\u00eddica de neutralidad esconde<\/em> (2021). She currently works at the General Directorate for the Eradication of Gender Violence at the Department of Equality and Feminism of the Government of Catalonia. She has participated in several feminist organizations, both in Argentina and Barcelona, such as Las Juanas y las Otras, Descosides, Les Tisores and la Coordinadora Feminista.
