Rosa M Ortiz Monera has a PhD in Sociology from the University of Barcelona. She also holds a master\u2019s degree in Women, Gender and Citizenship from the UB as well as a Postgraduate Diploma in International Development Cooperation from the Autonomous University of Barcelona. A graduate in Economics from the Pompeu Fabra University, she is a researcher for the COPOLIS research group on welfare, community and social control.
