She is a lecturer for the Department of Catalan Studies at the Autonomous University of Barcelona and a regular columnist for <em>Naci\u00f3 Digital<\/em> and the <em>El Temps<\/em> magazine<em>.<\/em> She is the current president of the Association of Catalan Language Writers (Associaci\u00f3 d\u2019Escriptors en Llengua Catalana -AELC). Her published works include books for both children and young adults, short stories and theoretical reflections such as <em>The Heroines Fight Back<\/em> (<em>Les hero\u00efnes contraataquen<\/em>, 2011), an analytical essay on gender roles in children\u2019s literature for which she was awarded the Premi Rovell\u00f3 for Best Children and Youth Essay.
