Alba Cervera Lierta is a researcher at the Barcelona Supercomputing Center. She holds a PhD in Quantum Computing and Information from the University of Barcelona and an MSc in Particle Physics. After obtaining her doctoral degree, she went to the University of Toronto as a postdoc researcher in the Al\u00e1n Aspuru-Guizik group. Her fields of study revolve around quantum computing and its short-term applications, and the synergies between quantum physics and artificial intelligence.
