She is also an expert on law philosophy, and her work focuses on the ethical aspects of digitalisation and authomatisation. She cofounded the NGO <em>AlgorithmWatch<\/em> and, shortly after, <em>The Ethical Tech Society<\/em>, which studies the social relevance of authomatic systems. In 2017 she was appointed by the spanish government member of the<em> Wise Committee for AI and Big Data<\/em>. She is the cofounder of the <em>Dynamic Coalition on Publicness <\/em>at the Internet Governance Forum at the United Nations (IGF), where she is the director of the german national section secretariat.
