The two thinkers also differ in their views on the complex issue of immigration: in response to the vague proposal for \u201cporous borders\u201d, Walzer sustains his well-known belief in the right of a country \u2013limited by other laws\u2013 to control the influx of immigrants into its territory when it poses a serious threat to social cohesion. &nbsp; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This article forms part of issue 15-16 of the IDEES magazine, \u201cCatalonia,<em> Foreign Affairs<\/em>\u201d, published in print format between July and December 2002.
