Djaimilia Pereira de Almeida

Djaimilia Pereira de Almeida is a writer. Born in Angola in 1982, she was raised in Portugal. Her first novel, Esse cabelo (2015), was presented with the Novos 2016 Award. Her second book, Luanda, Lisboa, Paraíso, was also recognized by the Fundação Inês de Castro 2018 Award. She has just published her third novel, Pintado com o pé.
