Janna Thompson
Janna Thompson is an expert in political philosophy and she has been professor at La Trobe University in Melbourne. She studied philosophy at Oxford University and years later was a visiting professor at the Humphrey Chair in Modern Feminism at the University of Waterloo in Canada. Thompson specialized in environmental ethics, feminism, global justice, and communitarianism. She was awarded the Eureka Prize for Research in Ethics in 2006 for his bookTaking Responsability for the Past: Reparation and Historical Injustice (2002). Other relevant books are Discourse and Knowledge: Defense of a Collectivist Ethics (1998) and Intergenerational Justice: Rights and Responsabilities in an Intergenerational Polity (2009).
